Being in a space is a relationship, it's living in it, occupying it. In an increasingly uninhabitable world, being there with care becomes an increasingly complex and multi-layered task. The era we live in is increasingly characterized by a restrictive, oppressive, crushing, and disintegrating policy of the space that belongs to us. From the security bill to the eviction of the Leoncavallo, repression has generated an even stronger desire to create and respect new spaces.
Reclaiming public spaces, from squares to our homes, is Resistance.
Because occupying a space also means being able to care for oneself and others, for the relationships between different cultures, souls, and bodies; it means knowing how to provide mutual support and respect; learning to know oneself through the limitations of the other.
